20, 2011 - The Women of Note have another successful year of competition and
performances under their belt and are ready to start the New Year off with a
bang! Beginning January 17th, the chorus will be offering FREE vocal
lessons and an introduction to the exciting world of a cappella music to women
who love to sing!
Did you watch Glee and The Sing Off this past season? Do you sing in the shower? Along with the radio while you’re driving around South
Florida? Do you sing to your
children or your grandchildren?
Maybe you vocalize with a church or temple chorus. The Women of Note are offering you an
opportunity to hone your vocal skills, tune those chords and vocalize with
us. The chorus is offering FREE group vocal lessons to women of all ages
and musical backgrounds who are ready to shine and uncover their musical
talents.
The Women of Note are
looking to expand their membership to include YOU and your friends. Mark
your calendar and treat yourself to a girls’ night out with the Women of Note
at Boynton Beach Community High School, Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. starting January
17th through February 7th.
LOCAL CHORUS SPREADING THE LOVE VALENTINE’S DAY
Boynton Beach, Florida, January 10, 2012 – Quartets from the
award-winning Women of Note Chorus will be delivering Singing Valentine’s
throughout Palm Beach County this Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, February 14th. This is the third year that this chorus
has participated in Singing Valentine’s and the women look forward, once again,
to spreading love throughout the county! “It’s so much fun to surprise people
with a quartet!” enthuses Cheryl Phillips- Anderson, a member of the chorus and
of her own quartet, Harmony Street. “We show up at offices, at dinner,
sometimes at home, and surprise the recipient with a personal message from the
gift giver, a rose and a song. We
love doing it!”
