What is the Women of Note Chorus?
The Women of Note Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International. We are an organization of female singers who meet regularly to practice, socialize and have fun. In addition to the chorus, some members also sing in quartets. The choruses and quartets perform around the community and enjoy competing at the regional Sweet Adelines competition in Daytona each spring.
What kind of music do we sing?
Women of Note performs four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style. This style of music lends itself to songs from any era – today’s ballads, popular show tunes, even jazz. We sing a combination of upbeat songs and ballads, a refreshing alternative to classical music. If you are, or have been, a member of a choir, our chorus will be a lively and energetic experience for you.
Why would I want to join?
Singing, friendship and good times are the reasons our members join and stay with the organization. Many members find their own personal development a thrill, and their self-confidence grows as they develop performing and leadership skills they may never have discovered before. If you ask our members, they’ll tell you that singing this style of music is a high like nothing they’ve ever experienced before. It’s a buzz.

Our rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Boynton Beach Community High School in Boynton Beach. Arrive early, because we are ready to start at 7:00!
Our rehearsals are easy to find! Boynton Beach Community High School - Choral Room 4975 Park Ridge Blvd, Boynton Beach
Take I-95 to the Gateway Blvd Exit in Boynton Beach, go WEST to first Light.
Turn left (South) at the first light onto High Ridge Rd.
Stay on High Ridge to the end, passing Car Max and Publix Distribution.
